One Golf Game. One Big Impact.

On May 17, 2027, the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) will be hosting its 10th annual Chipping In for Charity Golf Tournament. Taking place at Cary’s MacGregor Downs Country Club, the 18-hole tournament is open to players of all skill levels and includes lunch and a post-round awards dinner.

While this event is a fun way for golfers to connect and work on their long games, it’s about a lot more than just a day on the green. Chipping In for Charity is an opportunity for businesses to join ACHC in supporting local organizations that make a real difference for child health and safety: 100% of the event’s net proceeds will be donated to SAFEchild and Children’s Flight of Hope, two Raleigh-based nonprofits.

Over the past nine years, Chipping In for Charity has raised a total of $325,000 for local nonprofits.

And ACHC is not stopping there. “This May, we celebrate a decade of combining a commitment to ensuring access to quality healthcare nationwide with a commitment to our local community,” said José Domingos, President and CEO of ACHC, of the upcoming event. “With help from others who share these values, we look forward to many more decades of showing up for families who need our help.”

Chipping In for Charity funds donated to SAFEchild support their mission to eliminate child abuse in Wake County through specialized education, intervention, and treatment for children and their families.

A contribution will also be made to Children’s Flight of Hope, which grants children with urgent medical issues access to critical healthcare by organizing and subsidizing air transportation for them and their caregivers.

Participation includes 18 holes, boxed lunch, additional refreshments, and a post round dinner and awards presentation.
