This month, our Nonprofit Spotlight – and cover photo – focus on Arts Access, which works at creating an inclusive environment throughout the arts community and venues for all event-goers. Christy exclaims magnifique with Chef Serge Falcoz-Vigne at Saint Jacques French Cuisine in North Raleigh. Our publisher had the pleasure of interviewing our Secretary of State Elaine Marshall in our Community Leaders Interviews and we talked about school lunches with Steve Mangana of the NC Partnership for Child Nutrition. NC Theatre's Elizabeth Doran and Eric Woodall told us about the importance of locally-produced theatre shows and about their upcoming 2019-2020 season. In this month's Around Town News, there were lots of places opening up in the last month or so including Wegmans in midtown, SmokeStack Cafe in Historic Oakwood, Alimentari at Transfer Co., Weaver Street Market in the Dillon, Laurel Bar & Food in Fuquay Varina, Scott Crawford's long-awaited French-inspired Jolie, 401 Main in Chapel Hill, and Mustang Charlie's inside Crossroad Ford in Cary.
