Made by You: Huichol Yarn Art at the Hub RTP stage will bring together creativity, storytelling and native tradition. Led by artist and elementary educator Tyler Caldwell, participants will learn basic yarn painting techniques by applying glue to a canvas and arranging colorul yarn to create their own design inspired by a storybook. This event is beginner-friendly and children are welcome when accompanied by a parent who can help with glue and scissors. All materials will be provided. This workshop will take place outdoors at the Hub RTP stage. In the event of unfavorable weather, we do have an indoor backup plan. Due to the small-scale format of this project, each participant needs to purchase their own ticket in advance.
