Turn up the nostalgia as you sip to the upbeat, unforgettable sounds of 1980s pop at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club’s recently reimagined Fairview Dining Room – a AAA Four Diamond lodging and dining destination nestled on Duke University’s scenic campus. “Retro Rewind: 80s Radio Gold” invites guests into an evening of electric energy and colorful flair, featuring hits from Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson and Cyndi Lauper that defined the decade’s bold, chart-topping sound. Hosted in the Inn’s award-winning Fairview Dining Room from 5-8 p.m., a live DJ from Hunky Dory Durham will spin classic 80s vinyl throughout the night, while a dedicated listening station lets guests experience the era’s iconic grooves up close. Alongside the music, guests will savor a thoughtfully curated menu and a themed cocktail inspired by the era, with limited edition, vintage-inspired pricing — offered exclusively for the evening in celebration of the event and as a nod to the pop, style and unforgettable energy of 1980s radio hits — featuring a specialty entrée and dessert for $25 and a $10 cocktail.
