Raleigh’s The Bend Bar is hosting its Inaugural Oyster Fest 1-5 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026. In partnership with Locals Seafood and The NC Oyster Trail, the fest will feature at least eight oyster farmers from the North Carolina coast. Participating farms include: Croatan Selects in Swansboro; Grace Point in Oriental; Kinnakeeters in Hatteras; Southern Salts in Sneads Ferry; O'Cocks in Ocracoke; Herring Shoal in Wanchese; and Sage Wave in Davis. Most farms will be serving raw oysters on-the-half-shell to highlight their natural flavor and freshness. One farm will serve up traditional N.C steamed oysters. VIP tickets allow access at 1 p.m.; general admission will start at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $175 for VIP and $100 for general admission. Some of the proceeds will be donated to the N.C.
