MLB Raleigh and Trophy Brewing Co. are co-hosting the annual Baseball, Beer & BBQ 2026 Season Kick-off Party from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Maywood Hall & Garden. The family-friendly event will include a whiffle ball derby with a chance to win prizes, kids’ crafts and a bounce house. Food and drink includes ‘cue from Lawrence Barbecue, snacks by Crofton’s Pretzels and special Trophy beers. Lots of baseball games to watch, baseball talk and swag with the N.C. Baseball Museum and the Carolina Sandlot Collective on hand. The event is free but proceeds from food, drink and merchandise sales will benefit the building of a community baseball field called The Farm in Creedmor.
