Rediscover art beyond the canvas at Live at Boxyard on Saturday, September 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Art lovers and creative enthusiasts across the Triangle are invited to Boxyard RTP to take part in an immersive, hands-on art experience with local artists, get a behind-the-scenes look at art techniques and ignite their own creativity. This year, Boxyard RTP is partnering with CenterFest, Durham’s annual fine arts festival, to showcase the region’s top artistic talent and celebrate creativity in all its forms. Guests can enjoy live demonstrations, including wood block printing with Amy Friend, digital illustrations by Joe Cordaro and a weaving and fiber petting zoo with Sydney Sogol. Interactive workshops feature watercolor with Ryann Carey, printing with Little Dog Print Shop and hand-building clay with Delores Farmer. Activities are designed for guests of all ages to explore and embrace their inner creative. Bites and beverages are available for purchase from select Boxyard vendors.
