Faculty and students of the North Carolina Chamber Music Institute invite the public to join a celebration of the birthday of Martin Luther King when they perform music of black composers at a free concert. The concert will be held Monday, January 16, at 7:30 pm at Church of the Nativity, 8849 Ray Road, Raleigh. Dr. Timothy Holley, cellist and associate professor of music at NC Central University, is curating the program which will include works by composers Samuel Coleridge Taylor, Florence Price, William Grant Still, and more!
