Raleigh’s Vidrio restaurant is hosting a “Taste Tour of the Mediterranean” monthly dinner series. The destination and menu inspiration will change each month and we work our way through the Mediterranean. The next destination: Greece! Dinner is $85, plus tax and gratuity. Join us and immerse yourself in an exclusive multi-course cultural dinner experience filled with authentic and elevated Greek cuisine hosted by 2021 NC Chef of the Year Saif Rahman. The dinner will be from 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022. Appetizers: Taramasalata – salted cod roe spread with lemon juice, potatoes and herbs Melitzanosalata – smoky eggplant spread with olives and herbs Dolmades - stuffed grape leaves First course served family style: Charred Octopus with lemony potatoes and tomato vinaigrette Second course served individually: Beef Souvlaki with maroulosalata and tzatziki Third course served family style: Grilled Sardines with Greek olives and mountain oregano Fourth course served family style: Lamb kleftiko with preserved lemon and olives Lemony potatoes Spanakorizo – Greek country spinach and rice Fifth course served family style: Honey and Walnut Baklava Loukoumades – Honey donuts Note: Menu subject to change based on ingredient availability.
