Take in the wonders of the Durham night sky at our weekly stargazing events. As the latest addition to the Inn’s property programming, every Saturday evening at 9 p.m. from July 2 to October 29, overnight hotel guests are invited to join the Chapel Hill Astronomical and Observational Society (CHAOS) for an out of this world astronomy experience. Just beyond the Fairview Dining Room patio, attendees will be able to engage one-on-one with the CHAOS astronomers to ask questions and explore the sky’s picturesque constellations through a telescope. All ages and experience levels are welcome at the observation sessions. Inclement weather may impact select stargazing events. Guests staying at the inn will receive programming reminders upon arrival.
