Music, soul, and local veterans will combine on stage this Sunday, March 6th at the Cary Arts Center. Black Box Dance Theatre is a non-profit organization that celebrates local and global communities through non-fiction dance. PATRIOT is simply about supporting veterans and their families and helping them cope with the unique and specific mental health challenges that come with military life. The show combines dance with the powerful spoken words of military members and their families, healing from the complex issues faced by these extraordinary individuals. The show begins at 4:00 PM. Come early to check out the military memorabilia outside of the theater, and stay after to mingle and chat with the dancers. Tickets are $22, $15 for seniors and students, and free to veterans.
