---------- ARTIST BIO:

Adam David Cohen is a Raleigh-based visual artist whose figurative work “stretches the truth.” In the same way fiction can be truer than fact, he distorts forms and descriptive color until something essential is cracked open, a light goes on inside the imagery and it acquires layers of history and meaning. He earned an MFA at The Savannah College of Art and Design, and recently had a solo exhibition at The National Humanities Center.
