The Grand Opening week includes a wide variety of programs and events including a Busker series Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am-2pm. Raleigh Rockers will be demonstrating their dance skills on Wednesday at 6pm. In addition, the Moore Square Market will be in the park on Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm. The official dedication of the square will be Friday morning at 10am. The day will be capped off with a First Friday “Culture Pop Up” celebrating Scotland. The weekend will be full of revelry with a celebration that includes live entertainers, roving acts, an Art Market by Artsplosure, a community art project and much more. Mainstage performers include the Raleigh Rockers, Sandbox Band, Oak City Voices, Shiloh Hill and Ellis Dyson and the Shambles. The weekend will be capped off Sunday with an installment of “Moore Movies” sponsored by Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.
