Who's Who in Fashion & Textiles: Reuse and Re-purpose
Redress Raleigh shines a light on movers-and-shakers in fashion and textiles related fields—introducing you to new brands, ideas and connections with a sustainable focus.
Join Redress Raleigh on Wednesday, April 24th at Raleigh Times from 6:30-8:30pm for our next "Who’s Who in Fashion & Textiles" event! Our Who's Who series shines a light on movers-and-shakers in fashion and textiles related fields—introducing you to new brands, ideas and connections with a sustainable focus.
Coinciding with Fashion Revolution Week and Earth Week, our next Who's Who will focus on ways to slow down the cycle of fast fashion by reusing and re-purposing garments that already exist—in our own closets and through secondhand retail. We'll enjoy light appetizers in a private space at Raleigh Times while hearing from several local speakers:
- Fifi's of Cameron Village | Revolver Consignment Boutique
Learn all about selling and shopping consignment from two of our favorite secondhand retailers in N.C.
- Reborn Clothing Co.
Hear about Reborn's mission to reduce textile waste through upcycling from the brand's founder and CEO, Emily Neville.
Speak with personal stylists from Wirl about how to feel confident and stylish in your wardrobe while keeping sustainability in mind.
Your $15 ticket includes appetizers and event admission. A cash bar will be available as well as plenty of time for Q&A and socializing.
