Documentary Screening: The Chance to Live

Screening of documentary featuring a local refugee family

Grace Beeler, an ESL instructor at Durham Tech, is working with a group of local filmmakers to make a series of short films on refugees in the Triangle area. The first film in the series, "The Chance to Live," highlights the experience of a Colombian refugee family who fled violence and relocated to the Triangle. The presentation will include a discussion of the project and Q&A segment. This event is open to the public, is sponsored by the Global Distinction program at Durham Tech, and will be on Main Campus in Building 3, room 125.
