Keep RLGH Independent 4 Miler

4 Mile Race

Runologie, Trophy Brewing, and Shop Local Raleigh are partnering with hundreds of local runners for a 4-mile run to raise funds for Healing Transitions, a peer-based recovery treatment center for men and women in Wake County. In 2015, more than 1,100 people died of opioid overdoses in North Carolina. Participants in the event hope to help end the opioid crisis here. The race begins at Healing Transitions’ men’s campus and loops through beautiful Dorothea Dix Park before ending back at Healing Transitions for a fun 4th of July celebration with local food, drinks, and music. Race organizers will donate a portion of all proceeds to Healing Transitions’ programming throughout Wake County. Packet pick-up for the race will be held at Runologie on Sunday, July 2nd from 12 – 5 p.m. and Monday, July 3rd from 12 – 7 p.m. Race day packet pickup will be held at Trophy Brewing from 6:30 – 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4th. All runners will receive a Keep RLGH Independent t-shirt, and cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall winners ($100, $75, $50). Age group award winners will receive gift cards to Runologie. Overall Masters and Grand Masters winners will receive growlers of beer from Trophy Brewing.
