Pop Up Dinner: Getting Hyper-Local

Foraging in Oakwood and Community Food Innovation

A memorable, unexpected dinner to create new connections and (literally!) find new opportunities for food in the city. With five seasonally-driven courses prepared by Chef Kim Hunter of Kimbap, the meal will pause midway through so we can take it outside . . . A short foraging walk through Oakwood acts as an experiential intermezzo - led by the local food and natural history educators at Piedmont Picnic Project, we'll return to the table invigorated and excited about new food insights. Erin White, founder of Community Food Lab and visionary behind the Raleigh Food Corridor, will share ideas and momentum around local food in Raleigh. Proceeds benefit the Raleigh Food Corridor.
