Redress Fashion Show Kick-off Party

May 30, 2017 03:25PM ● By Grace Drescher

Seven fantastic designers will be featured on the Redress Runway this August! Redress Raleigh is a nonprofit based in Raleigh working toward nurturing independent designers and educating people about the impact of their purchasing decisions through a variety of activities. Redress wants you to be the first to see their creative ideas - from upcycled saris to regenerated fishing nets as swimsuits to an all-organic pima cotton line, these collections will expand your definition of sustainable fashion.

Four of these collections for the runway will be a part of the designer incubator, focused on product development and business skills. Designers will be participating in a series of hands-on classes, listening to guest speakers from the industry, and connecting with local boutiques. This program is an essential part of Redress' mission to support independent fashion designers.

All of the accepted designers will be showcasing 8 - 12 looks from their collection on August 18th, at CAM Raleigh.

In the meantime, join Redress for their Fashion Show Kick-off Party! Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and wine at Taverna Agora on June 20th to meet this collective and their inspired concepts for the runway. Tickets are available now until June 16th.
