Christmas Store Shares Holiday Joy With Kids
The Christmas Store is designed to help families in our local area who are in need during the holidays.
The Town of Holly Springs is partnering with The Christmas Store again this holiday season. The Christmas Store is designed to help families in our local area who are in need during the holidays.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 19 in the Town Hall lobby, you can pick up Christmas tree tags with a child’s age and gender. Please return all unwrapped gifts by Wednesday, Dec. 5.
Volunteers will pick up the unwrapped donations the following day. Families needing assistance are referred to The Christmas Store by Western Wake Crisis Ministry, Dorcas Ministries, The Fuquay-Varina Emergency Food Pantry, and Holly Springs Food Cupboard. Guidance counselors and social workers in the schools also make referrals of children in need. The Christmas Store served over 1,200 children in our area last holiday season.
For more information on The Christmas Store, as well as list of other drop off sites, please visit christmasinapex.com. Call our Human Resources Department at (919) 557-2922 with questions about the Town’s participation in The Christmas Store initiative.
Thanks to everyone who has helped brighten the holidays for families in need by participating.
