DESCRIPTION Gather the whole family and join us for a fun, relaxing evening at Dorothea Dix Park! Escape from the busy work-week by listening to music and playing lawn games including Can Jam, Cornhole, Badminton and more, at one of Raleigh's most beautiful parks. Bring your own picnic. Beer and wine are permitted. Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome. You won't want to miss out on this night to remember! What to Bring Bring your own lawn games or use ours! Also, bring a blanket or lawn chairs if desired. Picnics, beer and wine are permitted. Please Note: Walking up hills, in grass and on uneven surfaces may be necessary. There are no bathrooms in Dix Park and no drinkable water, so please come prepared to only have portajohns available. Directions to the Program Location Going southeast on Western Boulevard (toward downtown Raleigh), turn right onto S. Boylan Drive. Turn left onto Umstead.
