LeChase Construction showcased The Cypress of Raleigh’s newly completed Phase II expansion with an event, “The Art and Aesthetics: From Construction Through Occupancy.” It celebrated local artistry and highlighted the company’s growing presence in the Triangle region along with its commitment to building partnerships.

“Partnering with Cypress of Raleigh and Moon Dog Fine Arts was a tremendous opportunity for LeChase,” said vice president Seth London. “We are seeing an increased demand for construction of lifestyle communities that provide seniors active and engaging environments. Being a part of projects like The Cypress aligns with LeChase’s mission to consistently support the needs of the Triangle.”

London was joined by other executives from LeChase and The Cypress of Raleigh who gave additional thoughts about industry trends as well as the unique partnership with Moon Dog Fine Arts—a coalition of local artists. They were commissioned by The Cypress of Raleigh to create 27 pieces for the new space. During the two-hour event, guests were given exclusive access to the paintings during a personal tour.

“Our goal was to help design an inviting atmosphere for new residents by enhancing the overall creative aesthetic,” said Susan Woodson, owner of Moon Dog Fine Arts. “The addition of artwork helps build a sense of community within the space, offering an experience for those who live there to gather and enjoy works of art that local artisans have produced.”

The Cypress of Raleigh is an award-winning retirement community offering luxury retirement living with private homes on 44 acres as well as four villa buildings. For more than a decade, the team from LeChase and The Cypress of Raleigh have worked together to build Raleigh’s premier retirement community.

The newly completed villa is comprised of 57 residences, featuring seven different two-bedroom floor plans. Floor plans range from 1,368 to 2,152 square feet, with customizable interiors, private balconies and weekly housekeeping, among other amenities. All 57 residences were sold prior to the building’s completion.
